Kreafy’s Library, Free Library Of Occult Secrets, Magickal Methods & Esoteric Technologies

Francis Kreafy is the creator and curator of Kreafy’s Library, which is a free online library of occult secrets, magickal methods and esoteric technologies. Francis has been studying and practicing magick and metaphysics for just over three decades, so we began this interview by asking what motivated him to take his interest online…

Well, first of all I’d like to thank you for taking an interest in my work. As you say, I have been studying all kinds of spiritual, metaphysical and occult ideas for a fairly long time, and over the years I’ve built up quite a library of dusty old books and study courses. Some of the ideas in those texts proved to be very useful, and others weren’t quite so useful, so I created Kreafy’s Library to share – in my own words – those techniques that I have personally found to be the most effective in day to day life.

Kreafy’s Library, Free Library Of Occult Secrets, Magickal Methods & Esoteric TechnologiesThe design of your website gives the impression of a rather grand library, the like of which we might normally see in movies. Was that deliberate?

Yes, it was. Like many other people, I always used to watch old movies and imagine what it would be like to live in a castle with its own private library, and the notion seemed perfectly fitting for someone who has a deep interest in relatively esoteric subjects. So when I came to share my writings online, I decided that I might as well do something similar in a virtual sense, and create a website which gave the visitor the feeling of being immersed in their very own hall of secrets.

One of the things that I found most appealing about your website was the sheer range of topics that you discuss – everything from astral projection and affirmations right through to visualization and working with spirit guides. Do you take an equal interest in all of those subjects, or do you have your own particular favourites?

I suppose you could say that my main interest is in discovering, developing and defining spiritual principles which actually work in the real world. That’s the thing that drives me, and always has. I’m perfectly happy to look into anything for a time to satisfy my curiosity, but the topic has to have a practical application to maintain my interest. If an idea can’t actually be applied and used to gain a benefit of some kind – be it greater levels of health, wealth or simply peace of mind – then I don’t pursue it. My interest in magick is therefore practical, rather than theoretical. Needless to say, all of the things that I write about at Kreafy’s Library have proven to be effective in my own personal experience.

Kreafy’s Library is certainly well stocked with texts already, but it seems that, every time I check back, a new one has appeared. How often do you publish new material on the site?

The current schedule is one new article every week. That seems to strike a good balance between providing something new for regular visitors, and not giving them so many new ideas that they don’t have time to actually apply them. I have also set up an email notification service so that visitors can sign up and receive automatic notifications whenever a new post is published, which is proving useful.

The Art & Science of Magickal CreationI noticed that Kreafy’s Library recently published an eBook by Daniel Keaton called [easyazon_link identifier=”B01DKTVIO4″ locale=”US” tag=”atr021-20″]The Art & Science of Magickal Creation[/easyazon_link]. It’s a superb product, but is it a one-off or can we look forward to you publishing further titles in the future?

That title is intended to be the first of many, I hope. I wanted to make The Art & Science of Magickal Creation available to Kreafy’s Library readers because it is an excellent self-contained course in practical magick, but it has been out of print for a long time. Fortunately, Daniel was very happy to allow us to publish it in Kindle format as a single volume, as it makes the material accessible to a brand new audience and will help many more practitioners benefit from the system in the years to come.

Do you already have any other titles lined up for publishing under the Kreafy’s Library imprint, or is that a secret for the time being?

Well, I suppose it’s an open secret if I only tell you and your readers, but yes, there is another title on the way, and there will be an official announcement about that towards the end of the year. What particularly excites me about the next release is that it will be another self-contained study course which hasn’t been available for almost 20 years, and so the author has revised, updated and expanded the whole text to create a 20th Anniversary Edition.

That sounds exciting!

It is exciting, and I’m very hopeful that it will bring great benefit to those who choose to study it. Again, it will be published in electronic form, so I’m delighted to be bringing genuine treasures from the past to a whole new generation of spiritual students and practitioners.

Well, Francis, it’s been a pleasure talking with you today. For the benefit of those of our readers who would like to keep up to date with you and your work at Kreafy’s Library, what’s the best way for them to do that?

Thank you so much – it’s been very nice chatting with you too. Your readers are more than welcome to visit the website at www.kreafyslibrary.com and to sign up for free email notifications on the front page. Those who like social media can also follow my Twitter account, which is @KreafysLibrary.
