Hi Holly!
I started seeing sequential numbers and finding feathers about eight months ago. Dragonflies (unusual in London), moths and butteries also land me! I don’t quite see the purpose, but I am open minded. I have no doubt about the synchronicity of what’s happening.
I Have a Question… Today I asked for a sign – if I find a yellow feather some love/relationship issue will be resolved. I didn’t find a yellow feather, but I found a little children’s toy in the shape of a little yellow chick made of wool. A chick would ordinarily be covered with yellow feathers. Is that a sign, or am I pushing it?
I can manifest shooting stars and rainbows but nothing seems to change or be different in my life! Very confused about the point of all this! Please help! Thanks in advance.
Thank you for your question.
You are not alone, more and more people have been and are starting to exprience synchronicity in their day to day lives. Personally, I started seeing 11:11 after my father passed in in 2009 and I simply said “thank you” until 2012 when I started seeing 12:12 as well and taking both numbers as a sign of being in alignment with my spiritual awakening process (or not if I didn’t see them for a few days). It wasn’t until more recent years that I started looking-up meanings and quickly learned that once you consciously take-in the message being offered though a particular means like Joanne Sacred Scribes more messages snowball and will quickly guide you in many forms.
Repeating number sequences, feathers, insects and animals seem to be the most common and they don’t have to be physical – like you I once asked for a yellow feather (In highlight I don’t think there very common here) and was quite disappointed as the days passed without actually finding one; instead it arrived as one of those automatic digital image passwords online when opening a new account.
The point being – If you ask, you will receive but, it is important not to expect your signs to arrive though a certain expectation and simply be aware enough to notice them anywhere.
To answer your question, I absolutely believe that your wool chick was intended to be the sign that you asked for, like the yellow feather image online, your toy chickadee was the path of least resistance.
As to your comment about seeing all these synchronicities but nothing actually changing in your life, lets take a look at the basic overall messages being made manifest…
The Spiritual Meaning Of The Dragonfly Totem
Dragonflies start to grow in water and then move into the air and fly. When this spirit animal shows up in your life you may be called to transform and evolve.
Symbol of metamorphosis and transformation, it inspires those who have it as a totem to bring about the changes needed in their lives in order to go to reach their full potential.
When this spirit animal shows up in your life, it’s an indication that it’s time for change. Just like the dragonfly changes colors as it matures, you may be called to live and experience yourself differently. Stay open to the enfoldment of your personal journey.
The Spiritual Meaning Of The Moth Totem
Like the Dragonfly the Moth is the master of disguise and is reminding you to be aware that you could be hiding from yourself. Are you using your emotions to keep yourself hidden from others? Is it time that you transform your emotional energy away from drama and into something closer to your heart? Have faith in your journey and trust that although things seem to be complicated right now – you will eventually see the light. Use your heart to guide you.
The Spiritual Meaning Of The Butterfly Totem
The butterfly is a symbol of powerful transformations, like the Dragonfly and Moth, it too transforms from one state of being into another and thus experiences life from alternative perspectives. In analogy to the development of the butterfly, the meaning emphasizes the ability to move from one state, perspective, lifestyle to another, especially when you may be going through or expect important changes in your life. The message of this totem animal is to lighten up and add more color to your life. Perhaps it’s time to express yourself more fully and show your colorful personality.
The Spiritual Meaning Of The Chickadee Totem
Like the Dragonfly, Butterfly and Moth, the chick is another symbol of transformation, starting its conscious life within an egg, only to break free into a new, more exciting world and like the above, has the power of flight, to exprience the higher aspects and perspectives of this world. When it is young, the chick is more timid but once it is grown, is a curiously bold and brave being equip to handle changing conditions, including social situations.
I would say that the messages you are receiving are in alignment with your overall statement as they point to being ready for something to happen and wanting transformation but also indicate you have internal work to do first before you emerge from the water like the Dragonfly, the Cocoon like the butterfly and Month or the egg like the Chickadee. The Moth suggests that you may have some hesitations or requirements to “blend-in” and that some situation in your life, like relationship issues may be bringing down your mood as the butterfly suggests that you lighten-up. They all support you spreading your wings at this time and the Chick indicates that once you do, your whole world will change as once you are comfortable in your truth, it will show in your bold strut and ability to adapt to changing situations.
Hope This Helps,
