What exactly is Intuition?
Intuition is the language of the soul and I believe that everyone is born with innate, intuitive abilities. Intuition is elusive and you can’t hold it in your hand, but it is a very real and an important part of your psyche. Intuition is something that you know or consider directly from instinctive feelings rather than from conscious reasoning.
The operative word here is Feeling… It is vital that you really begin to pay attention to your feelings. Staying tuned in to your Intuition or Inner Voice will help to keep you moving in the direction that you truly want to follow. Coincidences, all coincidences have meaning especially if they advance you on your spiritual path, pay attention to your hunches and see if they are correct, give in to, and follow up on your urges and keep tract of what happens, but most importantly of all, listen to your inner voice, even if you have to strain to hear it at first. This little voice can give you incredible and accurate information about the present, past or future. The inner voice can be subtle and difficult to distinguish from your ego mind, but the closer you listen, the clearer the voice will become. Have confidence and trust in what you get, do not write it off as just your imagination, and never write off your imagination as being unimportant.
Practice Making Predictions – If you are going to see someone that you’ve never met, try to picture in your mind what this person looks like. When you speak to someone on the telephone, do the same thing. If you are going to a meeting or gathering, guess how many people will be there, what the interior or exterior of the building looks like. See if you can imagine what just one person will look like and what they will be wearing. Practice advance awareness, by always trying to predict things in advance of seeing or experiencing them. This is a good method for getting immediate feedback.
